Gardens are full of animals, seen and unseen, But each animal is important in the web of life. Representatives of most species will be explored.
OBJECTIVES: Students will have the opportunity to:
- realize vegetable, flower, and hear gardens abound with animals
- learn about some of our Texas Panhandle animal species in our gardens
- learn that some animals are garden pests and some are beneficial

OTHER INFO: One adult for every 25 children required. When booking provide school and contact person’s phone number. Confirm with Amarillo Botanical Gardens 24 hours before scheduled trip. Due to limited space, parents with small children must plan to wait outside program areas.
PRESENTATION FORMAT: Three sessions- lesson, extension activity, tour of tropical conservatory and gardens.
